From a Sunday walk

Here we are, on the precipice of WWIII, if not already falling downward, about which I and most everyone have no say whatsoever. However, I can share my views of nature from photos taken during my walk on Sunday morning.

Goldenrod was in bloom everywhere.
A honeybee (among many other pollinators) enjoying goldenrod blossoms.
A viceroy (a monarch mimic) in the sun.
Three immature wood ducks enjoying the sun.
A broad-winged hawk, high above, on its journey south.
An orange sulphur butterfly enjoying nectar.
An eastern comma taking in the sun.

It was a good walk.
