Red squirrels often shout, curse, or complain, but they don’t beg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The local dominant male red squirrel has developed a special technique for getting attention. He ignores me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The red is patient waiting for the correct response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Does it work? Of course it does. I toss a handful of peanuts to the base of the tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
