Personally, with all the horror of the present world, particularly the devastation in Gaza and the West Bank, I find it difficult to concentrate; however, a walk outdoors during spring returns a certain amount of joy (and I wish that such a walk would be available to everyone). To begin, what indicates spring more than anything else is bird song. (I’ve delayed this post for ages, but I’m determined to have a voice again.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Catbirds (along with brown thrashers and mockingbirds) are noted songsters. And here is the first serenading spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An ever pretty pearl crescent (another small butterfly).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The snapping turtles come out of hibernation and enjoy basking in the sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
