A Foggy DayFebruary 2005

There are all types of fog, beginning with wet fogs and dry ones. Last week's walk in the game land behind Coopers Pond was in a dry, white fog. The "dry" is a very convenient factor for photography, especially moody photography.

Since this particular game land is also an experimental water project, the land is divided into sections of forest, field, and meadow. The photo below shows a cut cornfield with a stand of trees in the center and a row of trees in the distance.

It's a recipe for fantasy.

The following photo shows a forested area, with a frozen pond in the foreground. The white of the fog and the white of the ice lend to mystery.

Photo note: I used a Pentax *istD, with the SMC-A f2.8 50mm macro lens.
