The Global Sumud Flotilla – while in international waters – was attacked by Israel. The boats and humanitarian aid were seized and crew and passengers kidnapped and imprisoned by Israel. Most of the flotilla participants have been released, but there is little good news to report. A flotilla from Turkey (with humanitarian aid) was also seized.
Another flotilla is sailing toward Gaza, and perhaps with the so-called peace deal in place, it will get through.
