While I continue to fall further and further behind everything that I want to do, I thought a simple yet visually pleasing post would do well: a green heron in flight.
Typically, I see any green heron standing or walking about the main pond over at the Toftrees game land. If a green heron is flying, it generally stays low and close to the water and so making photography a true challenge. One day was different, and I saw a green heron approaching the pond.

A green heron is a remarkably colorful bird, even if those colors don’t include green.
