Celebrating Bees

Bees are one of the joys of the landscape and provide so much that is good, whether the honeybee’s honey or whether being the subject of macro photography. Today is a day for the latter: bee photos!

Goldenrod typically blooms in late summer and early to the middle of fall. It is an important food source for all insects, including bees and butterflies.

Finally, since I mentioned it early on, following is a honeybee (from last year, since I was unable to go walking in my usual way for most of this year).
